Day 01 Cusco / Puno
Arrival in Puno and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02 Puno
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we embark on a half-day boat excursion on Lake Titicaca, surrounded by water, sky, and the snow-capped Andes Mountains. We will visit the Uros Indians, who build their homes on "floating islands" of totora reeds and are known for their typical boats made of the same material.
In the afternoon we will visit Sillustani, the burial grounds of the Lords of the Colla, one of the great Lake Kingdoms of the Altiplano. The tall chullpa-type funerary towers of Sillustani are set on a promontory overlooking Umayo Lake. Return to hotel.
Day 03 Puno / Juliaca / Lima
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning transfer to the airport for our onward connection: Lima or Arequipa.
